Level 7 is, as its name states, the seventh level of the 1-Player Game.
Layout[]
The level starts out with a text box, a pipe containing a Pipe Lakitu, and a Jumping Chuck. It then leads to two spinning platforms, one of which has a Fuzzy rotating on its central block, and a Red Paratroopa hovering over a pit. After this is a series of 4 monty moles, with a Super Mushroom ? Block and a Yellow ! block to supply Mario with one or two power-ups, depending on whether Yellow Switch Palace was cleared. What follows are a Baseball Chuck, a ? Block containing Yoshi, a Blue Beach Koopa that kicks a Green Shell, a Beanstalk Block, which can only be activated using the Beach Koopa's shell and leads to a Key, and two Rexes. Afterwards, a Galoomba, a Red Shell-kicking Blue Beach Koopa, a Green Paratroopa, and a Keyhole that is hidden off the bottom of the screen appear. The Keyhole exit takes the player to Red Switch Palace. A long spinning platform, a series of Super Koopas, one of which is a Red Super Koopa, a ? Block containing a Cape Feather, a Banzai Bill, and a Clapping Chuck then precede the Goal Gate.
Text Box[]
"TO FLY WITH YOUR MAGIC CAPE, HOLD THE X KEY AND MOVE UNTIL YOU SEE MARIO RUNNING FAST THEN JUMP TO GAIN ALTITUDE. KEEP HOLDING X AND PRESS LEFT AND RIGHT TO STAY IN AIR."
Enemies:[]
Pipe Lakitu
Trivia[]
- This level's Pipe Lakitu is the only one in the 1-Player Game.
- This is the first level to contain Cape Feathers.
- Since the secret exit leading to Yellow Switch Place in Level 4 requires the use of a Cape Feather, the level must be replayed at least once in order to have access to the Yellow ! Block (unless Top Secret Area is accessed).
